Asian School of Cyber Laws or ASCL Law School, a division of Asian School of Cyber Laws, is an innovative educational institution that develops, evaluates and disseminates programs that foster intellectual development.
Asian School of Cyber Laws is a registered society and public charitable trust. We are headquartered in Pune - the education capital of India.
The ASCL Computer Crime and Abuse Report (2001-02) published by the Computer Emergency Response Team of Asian School of Cyber Laws (ASCL-CERT) is the only such study quoted in the United Nations report for 2003 on E-commerce and Development.
We have assisted the Government of India in
- framing rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000
- drafting model rules for functioning of Cyber Cafes.
The appointment of adjudicating officers to decide the fate of multi crore cyber crime cases in India was the result of the public interest litigation filed by our students.
